Demetrius R. Sikora TOWN OF ULSTER - Demetrius R. Sikora, 75 of Norma Court, Town of Ulster died Thursday Feb. 3, 2011 at the Westchester County Medical Center. Born in New York on Oct. 5, 1935 he was a son of the late William and Dora (Bodner) Sikora. Demetrius was employed by IBM Kingston as a Customer Engineer . He retired from the Software Manufacturing Department after 45 years with the company. He was presently employed as a State Supreme Court, Court Attendant in Kingston. He was a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club and of Saint Joseph's Church. He enjoyed electronics and was a great loverof animals, especially his beagle, Precious, his cats Neko and Snowy and Pepe his parrot. He is survived by his devoted wife Margarita Torres Sikora, his children, Steven A. Sikora and his wife Sharon of Coram, Deborah Lusby and her husband Michael of North Babylon and Roger W. Sikora and his wife Sharon of Lake Katrine, six grandchildren, Adam, Lauren, Keith, Amy Nicole and Stephanie and a great granddaughter, Miriam. Funeral arrangements and services are by the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Smith Avenue, Kingston www.jvleahyfh.com. The Sikora family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral procession will form 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph's Church. Burial in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
