WILLIAM L. (BILL) BEAL ULSTER PARK- William L. "Bill" Beal 75 of Union Center Road, died at The Kingston Hospital Sunday April 10, 2011. Bill was born in Boston Mass. on Nov. 14, 1935 a son of the late Leslie W. and L.Gladys Silverman Beal. Proud to serve his country in The United States Air Force during the Korean War. He is a member of Kingston Post 150 American Legion, a founding member of Town of Esopus Volunteer Ambulance, a volunteer for The American Red Cross until his illness, a member of The Hurley Reformed Church and it's Men's Bible Study, he was a former member of The Esopus Fire Department. He was employed by Verizon for 40 years until his retirement Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Deborah (Horvers) Beal, his six children, Rich Beal and his wife Patty of Middleburg, Kris Fulton of Lafayette La., Cindy Hover, and her husband Chuck, of Hudson, David Kilmer, of Charleston S.C., Leslie Shambo and her husband Darryl of Port Ewen, Josh Beal of Hurley. Two brothers, Richard Beal of Marshfield, Ma. Frank Beal of Atlanta Ga., a sister Jane Finlayson of Charlestown Ma. Seven grandchildren, Casey, Leah, Amanda, Ross, Tyler, Hannah, Molly, many nieces and nephews also survive. A sister, Lorraine Alexander predeceased him. Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Joseph V Leahy Funeral Home, Inc., 27 Smith Avenue, Kingston. www.jvleahyfh.com Friends will be received at the funeral home Wednesday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Rev Robert Gram, Pastor of The Hurley Reformed Church will officiate services at the funeral home Thursday at 11 a.m. Entombment and military honors by Joyce Schirick Post 1386 VFW color guard Wiltwyck Community Mausoleum.
