LOUISBURG, N.C.- Mary Agnes (Leirey) Clancy, passed away on Nov. 10, 2012, at the age of 73. Mary was the beautiful daughter of Frank and Anna Foerst Leirey of Kingston, NY.
Mary enjoyed travelling abroad before she began her career as an ER Nurse in Kingston. She eventually settled in Teaneck, N.J. where she retired as an RN in the Burn Unit at Hackensack University Hospital in Hackensack, N.J. Shortly afterwards, Mary moved to Louisburg, N.C. to be with her loving sister where they both enjoyed knitting, shopping, and luncheons with friends. Mary loved being around family and was a very active member at church and woman's club. On top of her busy lifestyle, she returned to her love of travelling visiting her children across the U.S. and watching her grandchildren grow.
Mary is survived by her five loving children, Jim Clancy (and wife Sarah) of Richmond, Va., MaryAnn Fraser (and husband Andrew) of Chesterfield, Va., Frank Clancy of Jersey City, N.J., Colleen Clancy (and husband Adam Vogeley) of McKinney, Texas, and Kathleen Mosca (and husband Perrin) of Rochelle Park, N.J. Also surviving are seven treasured grandchildren, Kirsten, Catharine, Mark, Clinton, Conor, Filoteo and Perrin Jr.; two wonderful sisters, Dolores Heitzman (and husband Clem) of Kingston, and Lucille Kloss of Louisburg, N.C. Mary has many nieces, nephews, family members and loving friends who will always treasure her beautiful smile and loving heart.
A memorial service will be held at St. Peters Church in Kingston, on Nov. 17, 2012 at 1 p.m. where she will they be laid to rest besides her parents and brothers, Frank and George Leirey.
