Larry Gerenstein SUN CITY CENTER, FLA. - Larry Gerenstein later known as “Jesselee Sunshine” was born in Brooklyn N.Y., Aug. 17, 1933 and passed away on Feb. 28, 2013 in Sun City Center, Fla. after a long illness. He is survived by his children Robin Lord-Haas, Sheri Aguilar Sunshine, Jill Cory, and Justine Gerenstein; his grandchildren Robert Schaeffer, Hillary Schaeffer, Brian Aguilar, Emily ‘Behkie' Aguilar and Sacha Chettiar-Gerenstein, and great-grandchildren Riley Schaeffer, Olivia Puleo, Molly Puleo and Joseph Puleo. Larry graduated from Lafayette HS in Brooklyn and from Egan Neon Glassblowing School in New York City. He was a Master Electrician and Master Glassblower and was self-employed as an electrical and general contractor among his many business ventures over the years. He always loved animals, especially horses which is what brought him to Ulster County in 1969 when he bought a home and property in Highland. He is remembered as a wonderful story teller and entrepreneur who will be missed by family and friends. A remembrance ceremony and burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 18th, 2013 at Mount Golda Cemetery in Huntington, N.Y.
