Joyce E. Pine BINNEWATER- Joyce E. Pine, 74, of Binnewater Lane, lost her battle with cancer Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at Health Alliance Hospital, Broadway Campus, in Kingston. She was surrounded by her loving family. Joyce was born Feb. 25, 1942 in Queens, a daughter of the late Michael J. Burke, Sr. and Anna Dugan Burke and was raised in High Falls. She was married 45 years to the late Curtis C. Pine, who died Oct. 19, 2005. Together they owned and operated Pine’s Pheasant Farm and Recycled Auto Parts businesses. She enjoyed life with her family and trips to the casinos. Joyce is survived by four daughters, Debbie Miller (Herbie) of Binnewater, Tammy Penovich (Paul) of Stone Ridge, Donna Sheeley (Jay) of Accord, Diane Krom (Leonard) of Kerhonkson. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Kimberly Cole, Amanda and Victoria Miller, Kayla Penovich, and Courtney Krom. Also survived by four adoring great-grandchildren, and four sisters, Dolly, Renee, Lorraine, and Geraldine. She was predeceased by three brothers, four sisters, and a grandson Travis Sheeley. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. Interment will follow in the Hurley Cemetery.
