Rita S. Ames, 69, passed away on March 8, 2018.She is survived by her husband, Gregory Ames; children, Michael (Lisa) Ames, Brian (Heidi) Ames, Lisa (Michael) Huchro and April (Alex) Renna. She is the beloved grandma "Bama" to Caleb Huchro, Cameron Huchro, Colby Huchro, Isabelle Ames and Oliver Renna. She is also survived by her sister, Donna (Richard) Dennis; brother-in-law, Francis (Barbara) Ames; aunts, Clementine DiCocco and Eleanor Cioccke; uncle, Ronald Pidgeon; her niece, Jennifer (the late Tommie) Croote; as well as her great-nephews, Hunter and Brandon Croote. Several cousins and many friends also survive.Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place privately at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.Full obituary at www.glenvillefuneralhome.com.
