Henry J. Kaminski Jr. GuilderlandHenry J. Kaminski Jr., 66, at rest Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Henry was born in Schenectady, the son of the late Henry J. and Irene (Chmielewicz) Kaminski. He served in the Army from 1963 to 1965, leaving with the rank of specialist 4th Class. A private man with a strong work ethic, Henry loved working with the guys of the various dry wall companies he operated over the years, most recently Tech Valley Drywall Inc. in Clifton Park. He equally enjoyed spending time with friends at his favorite local diners and restaurants which he considered a second home. He spent several years constructing his red barn house in the hills of Altamont, to which he was very proud of. He always had a project in motion. His free time was spent riding his mower and perfecting his lawn. He had a love for Corvettes. He was tending to steak on the grill many nights. An avid lover of ice cream, he would frequently be found at local ice cream shops with his grandchildren. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed sharing stories. He adored his pets, Sid and Archie. It was the simple things in life that he cherished most. The wisdom, guidance and love he provided his family with over the years will forever be missed. Henry was the beloved father of Tami (Kyle) Kapusinsky; loving grandfather of Collin, Ryan, Justin and Ashley Kapusinsky; all of Altamont, NY; brother of Sandra and Douglas Kaminski and Henrietta Klonowski. He is also survived by his close family members, Sharon Kaminski and Bob Guido. To the guys at work, friends and all of his associates; thank you for the friendships. To his friends at the diner; fill his counter space with his memories.
