John A. Mineconzo

John A. Mineconzo SchenectadyJohn A. Mineconzo, 92, of Schenectady, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lyndhurst, NJ, he was the son of the late Cataldo and Mary (Tarnaldi) Mineconzo. He served in the Army in WWII in General Patton's Third Army in France and Germany. John was employed in construction for Local Union #12 retiring in 1980. He loved hunting and fishing. John loved his camp in the Adirondacks. The family would like to extend a special thanks to his dear friend, Renee Van Derzee. They also would like to acknowledge special thanks to Gerald Carozza for his care of John in his later years. He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy Fraumeni Mineconzo; two brothers, Archibald Mineconzo and Louis Mineconzo; four sisters, Anna D'Celli, Mary Lundergan, Malfalda Potter and Julie Potter. John is survived by his daughter, Patricia Dadez of Clifton Park; one brother, Albert Mineconzo of Las Vegas, Nevada; also survived by three grandchildren, Gary Bojarski, Michael Bojarski, and Tricia Chevalier; also four great-grandchildren, Callie Chevalier, Sophie Chevalier, Michael Bojarski Jr. and Matthew Bojarski; as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be no services or calling hours held by request. Inurnment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery.
