Carmen Angerami

Carmen Angerami RotterdamCarmen Angerami, 57, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2012 after a long illness. Born on January 10, 1955 in Schenectady, NY, he was a son of the late Donald and Marjorie DellAquila Angerami. He was a 1973 graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. Carmen was employed at GE for several years. He then worked as a New York State correctional officer where he later retired. He enjoyed many sports. He earned a black belt degree in Tae Kwan Do. Carm also played Gridiron Football and pitched in many softball leagues and had a passion for golf. Carmen was predeceased by his sister, Donna Lee Boettner Angerami; and his brother, Leonard Angerami. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Kathleen Irish Angerami; and their cat, Ginger; and his siblings, Rocco Angerami of Saratoga, Rosanne (Ron) Villano and Joseph (Cheryl) Angerami both of Rotterdam; brother-in-law, Rocky Irish and Bob of Loudonville; and a sister-in-law, Colleen Irish and her companion, Chester Strozek of Ballston Lake; and several nieces and nephews. Carmen is also survived by his in-laws, Linda and Matt Mathisen of Warwick, NY and Rocco and Linda Irish of Herkimer, NY; and many loving family and friends; and a loving thanks to special friends, Diane and Ron DeMeo. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home, Inc., 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Brandywine Ave., Schenectady. Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Schenectady, NY 12302.
