Bernice Klompas HalfmoonBernice Klompas followed Nicholas Klompas in death on December 13, 2012 at 3 p.m., exactly one month after Nicholas died and on the date of what would have been Nicholas' 88th birthday. Born in Toronto, Ontario, After graduating from Humberside Collegiate, Bernice worked for Imperial Oil, programming IBM computers and scheduling tank cars across Canada in WWII and beyond. She then traveled side by side with Nicholas through life for over 62 years. She is survived by three children, Paul, Kathryn, and Mark (Linda); and five grandchildren, Rebecca, Danielle, Matthew, Jonathan and Madison who miss their beloved mother and grandmother. Her life will be celebrated at the 4 p.m. Eucharist on December 15 at St Luke's On The Hill, Mechanicville NY. More information available at Klompas.com
