Clinton A. Lang Ballston SpaClinton A. Lang, 92, of Brookline Road, died peacefully on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs, NY. He was born on November 4, 1920 in Amsterdam, NY and was the son of the late Andrew and Pauline Lang. Mr. Lang was a WWII US Marine Corps veteran who proudly served his country. He was a truck driver all of his life and retired from McCormicks in Schenectady. Earlier he drove for Tarrant Trucking in Saratoga. Every year, without fail, Clint enjoyed marching in the Burnt Hills Flag Day Parade. He was the beloved husband of the late Janet Rider; caring father of the late Melissa Lissa Lang; dear and faithful friend of Marilyn J. Newhouse of Ballston Spa; uncle of Arthur (Jennie) Page of Speculator, NY, Erwin (Sue) Page of Marcellus, NY, Donald (Nancy) Page of Siera Vista, AZ, Diane Rider of Malta and Sally (John) Harden of Athens, PA. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY 12019. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Ballston Village Cemetery, Ballston Spa, NY. Those who wish are encouraged to make memorial donations to Maplewood Manor Nursing Home, 149 Ballston Ave., Ballston Spa, NY 12020. Many thanks are extended by Clint's family and friends to the doctors, nurses and staff at Maplewood Manor for their loving care.
