John S. Anderson Wells, NYJohn S. Anderson, 79, of Algonquin Drive, Wells, died March 15th 2013 with his family at his side. He was born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland on Oc- tober 26, 1933. He was the son of Peter and Hedwig Anderson. He was a graduate of Nor- wich University with a bache- lor of science in 1955. He was the administrator of the Sacan- daga Reservoir working for the Hudson-River Black River Regulating District for 33 years, retiring in October 1996. He was an army veteran. He worked for the Army Corps of Engineers before moving to Wells. In Wells, he served as town justice, a member of Wells Fire Company and Am- bulance Squad. He was a for- mer councilman and served on the Wells Central School Board. He was a member and master of the Fish House Ma- sonic Lodge and a civil engi- neer. John loved to fish and hunt. He is survived by his wife, Pamela; four sons, Scott Ander- son, John Anderson (Jean), Craig Anderson all of Wells and William Harrington (Amy) of Pepperell, MA; two daugh- ters, Bonnie Bailey (Richard) of Perth and Kelly Dombrow- ski (Paul) of Delanson, NY; one sister, Jean Hasslinger (Clif- ford) of Paramus, NJ; and also survived by six grandchildren. Friends may call Monday, March 18th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Northville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wells Fire De- partment or the Mountain Val- ley Hospice. Spring burial will be held at the Algonquin Cemetery, Wells NY.
