Alberta A. Henry SchenectadyAlberta A. Henry, 86, after a long illness, died at Ellis Hospital on Tuesday, Feb- ruary 19, 2013. Alberta was born in Phila- delphia, PA, the daughter of the late Albert and Emily (Rasmus- sen) Kraus. She graduated from high school in South Phil- adelphia in 1945. She met and married Charles Arthur Henry on December 1, 1945. Alberta was of the Lutheran faith. Al- berta was a housewife, devoted mother, and tolerant wife. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed being a member of The Edison Club and the many friendships she made. Alberta was an ac- complished seamstress and also a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed music and was fun loving. Alberta is survived by her husband, Charles; her sons, Robert T. (Stephanie), Jack (Patty), Jeffrey R. and David C. (Jody) Henry; grandchildren, Ryan, Kevin, Danny, Jennifer, Nicolas, and Corey, Brittany; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Danelle, Jayden, Levi, and Ryk- er; and brother, Albert Kraus. Her sister, Dorothy Ambrose predeceased Alberta. Relatives and friends are in- vited to calling hours from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 from the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd., East Glenville. Interment will take place at 12:30 p.m. at the Gerald B. H. Solomon National Ceme- tery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuyler- ville, NY. Memorial contributions in Alberta's name are requested to be made to Alzheimer's Re- search Association, Northeast- ern New York, Pine West Pla- za, Bldg. 4, Suite 405, Washington Ave. Extension, Albany, NY 12205.
