Allie A. Bevington RotterdamAllie A. Bevington, 82, died Wednesday morning, May 1st at home after a long illness. Born January 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marguerite (Garrison) Pueshel. A homemaker, Allie enjoyed ceramics, gardening, baking, cooking and spending time with her family. Beside her parents, Allie was predeceased by her son, Brion Bevington and sisters, Helena Drab, Patricia Barnes, Marjorie Hazzard and Alice Rotundi. Allie is survived by her husband of 64 years, John M. Bevington who she married September 18, 1948; her children, Kathryn Matteo (Ronald) of Rotterdam, Leslie A. Bevington (Cindy) of Berne and John M. Bevington III (Mary) of Schenectady; her brother, Charles Pueschel; sisters, Evelyn MacDonald, Agnes Pueschel, Ella Lassell (William), Virginia Loren and Maryellen Surace (Sam); as well as eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 7th at 12 noon at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway and Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY.
