Anna Baisley Burrello MechanicvilleMrs. Anna Baisley Burrello, 73, of Hems- treet Park, died Tuesday eve- ning, Feb. 26th, at St. Mary's Hospital, Troy after a brief ill- ness. A native and lifelong resi- dent of Hems- treet Park, born June 14, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mildred Swars Bais- ley. She was a 1956 graduate of Mechanicville High School. While and after raising her three sons, Annie was a bus driver for over 30 years for the Mechanicville Public School District. Conscious of her pas- sengers, safety was always An- nie's goal, and she prided her- self with her driving record. In addition to bus driving, she as- sisted with her family's busi- ness, Burrello Construction and Heavy Equipment for years. For the past 35 years, Annie was a board member with the Town of Schaghticoke Board of Fire Commissioners for the Hemstreet Park Fire Dist., ready to assist volunteer fire- man fulfill their duties, but al- ways representing fellow tax payers. She was also a 50 year member and past president of the Hemstreet Park Fire Dept.'s Ladies Auxiliary and led many Election Day Dinner fundraisers. A long and faithful member of Mechanicville United Meth- odist Church, Annie was a member of the church's choir and Women's Society. She was a member of the Order of East- ern Star. A tireless worker at anything she did, Annie's true mark was the care giving that was a labor of love, in helping looking after her parents, raise her sons and grandchildren, her siblings and being an aunt that would al- ways be there for her nieces and nephews. Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Bur- rello, who died in 1994 and her brother, Joseph Baisley. Survivors include sons, Gus (Donna Perkins) Burrello, Paul (Karen) Burrello and Kevin (Kathy Teal) Burrello all of Mechanicville; grandchildren, Paul Jr., Katelyn, Kasie and Dalton Baisley; siblings, Daniel (Janice) Baisley, Beverly (Ed- ward) Zuzick, James (Pam) Baisley; and sister-in-law, Ethel Mae Baisley; along with a num- ber of nieces, nephews and their families. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 7 No. Main St., Mechanicville. Burial to follow in Hudson View Cemetery. Calling hours at the Church on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remem- brances may be made to the Mechanicville United Method- ist Church, in respectful mem- ory of Anna Baisley Burrello.
