Carole A. Russell Bishop GloversvilleCarole (Russell) Bishop, 76, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 5th, 2012, at Fulton Center for Rehab where she had been a resident since January 20th. Carole was born on August 6th, 1935 in Schenectady, New York. She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Anna Attendorn Russell. She attended Schenectady schools and later proudly received her GED. She was of the Catholic faith. Carole worked from an early age, but her major working contributions were working for the State University of New York at Albany, selling real estate, and her final 15-year employment was with the Lexington Center in Gloversville. Anyone who knew Carole knew she loved life, liked to have fun and enjoyed being around people, especially children. She gave selflessly to everyone and in anything she did. Carole is survived by three daughters, Janice Hine (late Gerry), Cindy Krueger-Farley (Brian), both of Gloversville, and Arlene Cramer (Chris) of McKinney, Texas. She is also survived by two sons, Robert Bishop of Gloversville, and Christopher Krueger of Schenectady. Despite many heartfelt attempts, she is survived by two estranged sons, Steven Falkowski and Timothy Falkowski. Her surviving siblings include her brother, Clark Russell (Edna) of Woodlawn and sister, Gail Porter of California. She is also survived by many close cousins, especially Barbara LaVallee (Ted) of Florida, nieces, nephews and friends. Carole leaves her unending love to her greatest gifts in life, her grandchildren, Jill Kelly (Mike) of East Haddem, CT, Mark Hine of Albany, Kaitlyn Cramer and Michael Cramer of McKinney, TX, Tonya Farley of Guilderland, Kristin Farley of Gloversville and her great-grandson, Owen Kelly of East Haddem, CT. In addition to her parents, Carole was predeceased by her first born son, Michael Falkowski; her brother, Clifford Russell of Scotia; her sister and best friend, Marilyn Howland (Pat) of Oneonta; and her beloved dog, Chelsea. The family would like to thank R.W. Williams and also the staff at Fulton Center, Suzanne, Vicki, Cassey, Sarah, Gina, Penny, Cindy, Ada and Gary and the numerous staff on the 3rd Floor of St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam for their compassion, care and guidance in the last several months of her life.
