David A. Mongillo ScotiaDavid A. Mongillo passed away on February 18, 2013. He was 64 years old. For more than 20 years, David worked in Washington, D.C. for various professional as- sociations rep- resenting the interests of health care busi- nesses and professionals. He ended his career as vice presi- dent for policy and medical af- fairs at the American Clinical Laboratory Association. He also worked at the College of American Pathologists, the American Petroleum Institute, and Washington Occupational Health Associates. Prior to his career in Washington, D.C., David was a physician assistant at Wolcott Medical Center in Wolcott, New York. He also served as a U.S. Navy corps- man during the Vietnam War. David was born in Schenec- tady, NY and attended Scotia-Glenville High School, where he graduated in 1967. He was an avid runner throughout his life and completed the Marine Corps Marathon eight times. David is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; sons, David and Nicholas; two brothers, Mi- chael and Donald; two grand- children, Jacob and Joseph; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 23, 11:30 a.m. at the Four Season's Club- house, 444 Four Seasons Drive, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
