Dilia Ramirez SchenectadyDilia Ramirez passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, at age 97. She now rests with our Heavenly Fa- ther. Dilia was born in Colom- bia, South Ame- rica. She immi- grated to the United States in 1958. Dilia lived her life with strength, dignity and love and shared those virtues with those surrounding her. She was a de- voted homemaker, and loved gardening and baking. She is survived by her daugh- ters, Christina (David) Victor, of New York City and Melba (Neil) Granlees, of Schenec- tady and several nieces and nephews. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 5th at 5 p.m. at St. Anthony's Church, 331 Sew- ard Place. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. It is with eternal gratitude that the family would like to thank Dr. Anthony and Mrs. Mastroianni for the care and support they have given our mom throughout the years. The family also thanks the staff of Gentle Home Health Care and Schenectady Hospice for the care and compassion shown to our mom.
