Dolores M. Gonyea Ayer, MADolores M. Gonyea, 86, entered into the arms of the Lord on Satur- day, March 2, 2013. She was born in Schenectady on February 6, 1927, a daughter of the late Gae- tano and Maria DiPace Serapiglio. She was a 1945 graduate of Nott Terrace High School. Dolores worked at the Navy Depot in Scotia and then for the US Army at Ft. De- vens, MA, retiring after many years of service. Dolores was predeceased by her husband, SFC Clement F. Gonyea in 1971; and her sib- lings, James Serapiglio, Eliza- beth Sebastian, Rose DeNegris, Tillie DeNegris and Antoinette Angiletta. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dolores' dear friend, Kelly Cotter, for her friendship and guidance over the years; the staff of Apple Valley Cen- ter in Ayer; Fr. Thomas Mor- rette, for his kind and compas- sionate spiritual support and David J. Ditoro, for his profes- sionalism and friendship. Private services will be held on Thursday, at the Rossi & Di- toro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Streets, with Fr. Thomas Morrette, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in St. Antho- ny's Cemetery.
