I taught with Bud at Steinmetz and remember fondly his passion for and dedication to teaching students and his distinctive and unique bowties, which he wore every day. It was a pleasure knowing and teaching with Bud. To me, he was the epitome of what a teacher should be. Mr. Davis

Dear Louise,
Our prayers and thoughts are with you in Bud's passing. I am so glad that we were able to see you both in the last two years. My long telephone calls with my cousin Bud was always enjoyable and a great way to keep in touch long distance. I will have pleasant memories of our conversations. Please keep in touch.

R.I.P. Mr Coons you were one of the best teachers I ever had. You were
always so kind to us students even when we weren't doing what we were supposed to be doing. You always made us laugh and we knew when it was time to get down to business. Whenever we reminisce about our school days your name always comes up. My thoughts and Prayers go out to your family. You will be missed.
