Florence DiPasquale Marra MechanicvilleMrs. Florence DiPasquale Marra, 93, lifetime resident of Mechanicville, died Saturday, June 30, at Teresian House, Albany, after an extended illness. Born in Ballston Spa, August 2, 1918, she was daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Cardi DiPasquale. A homemaker, Florence enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and visiting the area casinos. She loved to travel, including Europe, and had wintered in Florida for a number of years. She was a communicant of Assumption-St. Paul Church. Sadly, her husband, Patrick J. Marra died October 13, 1980. Survivors include four children, Marie and Roger Bombardier of Albany, Bernadette and Ron Czajkowski of Mechanicville, Patricia and Mark Van Guysling of Albany and Michael P. and Patricia Marra of Mechanicville. Proud grandmother of Christopher (Melissa) Bombardier, Ronnie (JoAnn) Czajkowski, Jennifer (Andre) Burton, Melissa P. and Patrick J. Marra; four greatgrandchildren, Lillian, Brooke, Andrew and Renee. Also brothers, Arthur DiPasquale of Saratoga Springs, Albert DiPasquale of Ballston Spa; and sister, Elizabeth Guido of Indiana; along with nieces, nephews and their families. She was also predeceased by brothers, Dominick, Thomas and Joseph DiPasquale; and sisters, Ida Cancro and Virginia Knapik. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday (July 4th) at 9 a.m. at All Saints on the Hudson South Church (St. Paul's), 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville. Burial at St. Paul's Cemetery. Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American , in loving memory of Florence A.
