Floyd D. Milo 'Poppy'SchenectadyFloyd Poppy Milo, 67, of Schenectady, died at home on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Poppy was born in Albany and raised in Altamont. He was the son of the late Dewey and Ethal Milo. He was retired from Golub Corp. where he worked for over 25 years. Poppy was an amazing father, grandfather and most of all a loving and devoted husband. Four months ago he lost his will to live and now today, he can finally breathe easy as he is reunited with his only love, Peggy, who went before him on February 9, 2012. He leaves behind two daughters, Kim Milo and Tammy (Bill) LaTulipe; and one son, John Rising. He has six beautiful grandchildren which he had given the world to, Valerie, Dalton, Jasmine, Justin, Johnny and Rhea. Upon Poppy's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
