Helena A. Williams SchenectadyHelena A. Williams passed away on May 9, 2013. She was born and raised in Schenectady. Helena was always a kind and generous person to everyone she met. Throughout her life, she was a caregiver. Her careers usually gravitated towards doing this for people. She was a C.N.A. and worked at the Hallmark Nursing Home for many years, and continued to do private duty cases long afterwards. She was even a crossing guard who brought the school kids lollipops!! Helena loved life and did not hesitate to live every day. She would often be seen at BINGO, buying scratch tickets, going to the casinos, or just entertaining her family and dear friends in her home. She hosted many card parties, cooked dinners, and doted on the ones she loved. She shared everything she had and was always concerned about everyone's happiness and safety so that she could do it all over again the following weekend. Helena loved being with her children and adored spending endless hours with her 24 grandchildren. Beautiful, fun-loving, sweet Helena leaves many unforgettable memories with her family.
