Henry P. Stockwicz Waterford Henry P. Stockwicz, 85, of Circle Lane, died Monday, June 10, at St. Mary's Hospital, Troy, after a long battle with "Parkinson's Disease". Born in Stillwater, December 23, 1927, he was the son of the late John and Tess Delikat Stockwicz. A Stillwater High School graduate, Henry was a physical plant director for Hilton Hotel, Albany, Upsala College, NJ, and Hudson Valley Community College, Troy, and had also worked for G.E. Silicone, Waterford. An avid sportsman, Henry loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed boating. He also enjoyed watching just about all sports and was a proud NY Giants fan. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Richard Steigerwald of Malta; granddaughter, Tiffany Jade (Simon) Batifort of NYC; great-granddaughter, Celeste Balifort; a sister, Viola Gooley of Mechanicville; former wife, Eleanor Bocchi Lisuzzo of Clifton Park; longtime companion, Mary Abbott of Latham; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings Charlotte Wanko, Stella Ontkush, Mary Talmadge, Helen Alden, Frank and Michael Stockwicz, and a casualty of WWII, pilot Lt. William Stockwicz. Henry's family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to his aides, Manny, Samantha, Kit, and Brandon for the dedication and care given to him over the past year. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S. Main St., Mechanicville, NY 12118. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Stillwater. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J.
