Judith A. 'Judy' Forino-Fantauzzi St. JohnsvilleJudith A. Judy Forino-Fantauzzi passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital, Troy with her loving family at her side. She was 56. Born on August 27, 1957, in Troy, daughter of the late Anthony J. Forino and Mary Babe (O'Keefe) Forino. A graduate of Mechanicville High School, Judy owned and operated Park Avenue Pets in Mechanicville. She was an avid animal lover and spent much of her time caring for and rescuing horses and other animals that needed care. Her hobbies included playing her guitar, collecting antiques and she was a very talented artist. Judy was a very loving, caring and compassionate person to everyone. We will all miss her. Survivors in addition to her mother, Babe, include her brother, John (Donna) Forino and their children, Danielle and John Jr., of Mechanicville; her sister, Diane M. (Jay Vredenburg) of St. Johnsville; and her equine friend, Ardreigh; and canine companion, Vinnie. Judy was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Mary and John Taglione; and paternal grandparents, Olympia and Pasquale Forino. Relatives and friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 15 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at All Saints on the Hudson, South Church, 121 North Main Street, Mechanicville. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Paul's Cemetery. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the hospice floor at St. Mary's Hospital for their care and compassion for Judy and the family.
