Lisa M. Baum-Egnaczyk, 54, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 23, 2018.Lisa was born on July 5th, 1963, in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Pascuale (Pat) Benardo and the late Louise M. Benardo (Stipano). Lisa truly loved and had a heart for her city. She was involved in many community and church projects, as well as fundraisers throughout the years. Lisa influenced and inspired so many in all her walks of life.Whether behind her haircutting chair as a hairdresser, locally for 30 years, using her professional name of Lisa Baum, on her school bus where she was a driver for both Schenectady and Mohonasen school districts, known affectionately as Mrs. E to all her students, and to all her children's friends or with the many elderly people to whom she was a care companion and home health aid for over 20 years.Lisa loved people and was always relied on for an ear, a hand, or a good laugh to anyone who needed it.She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul C. Benardo.Lisa is survived by her husband of 27 years, Randy J. Egnaczyk; her six children, sons, Nicholas P. and Nathan P. Baum and Asa P. Egnaczyk; her daughters, Alexandria Rivera (Daniel), Rebekah G. and Leah J, Egnaczyk; her grandsons, Dominic J. and Patrick A. Baum; granddaughter, Elianna L. Vasquez; her sister, Patricia Deland Rideout; and her former husband, Timothy Baum; as well as her many relatives and many close friends whom became her extended family. Lisa loved to enjoy life and make memories. She especially loved the summertime and being with her family.A Celebration of Lisa's Life will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Horseshoe II Pavilion in John Boyd Thatcher State Park from 1 to 5 p.m. Please R.S.V.P to (518) 316-0081 if you plan to attend.
