Mary E. Quinn AlbanyMary Esther (Badalucco) Quinn, in her 101st year, passed to eternal life on Saturday, Feb- ruary 16, 2013 at the Teresian House. Born in Gar- danne, France she was the daughter of the late Miguel and Santa (Papa) Badalucco. She came to the United States in 1916 with her family and settled in Schenec- tady, NY. As a young woman she worked for the General Electric Company and later with Freihofer's Bakery for 23 years, retiring in 1974. Mary en- joyed knitting, crocheting and gardening. However, the main focus of her life was family, es- pecially her children and grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Quinn; mother of El- len (the late Peter) Sowers of Rotterdam, Thomas M. (Joan) Quinn of Troy, Emily Quinn of Delmar, Geraldine Quinn Brei- tenstein of E. Greenbush and Joseph F. (Kirsten) Quinn of Tacoma, WA; sister of the late Antoinette Guidarelli, Joseph, Emmanuel and Yvonne Bada- lucco. Mary is also survived by 19 grandchildren; many great- grandchildren; nieces and nephews. The Mass of the Resurrec- tion in celebration of the life of Mary Esther Quinn will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2013 in the Infant of Prague Chapel at the Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave. Ext., Al- bany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Chapel prior to the Mass begin- ning at 12 noon. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
