Nancy L. Marcelle MechanicvilleNancy L. Marcelle, 84, of William Street, died Friday afternoon, June 29th, at Teresian House, Albany, after an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Mechanicville, born Oct. 28, 1927, daughter of the late Thomas and Rose Canonica Guilianelli, Nancy was educated at Mechanicville High School, and was actively involved in her class reunion activities. She was a seasonal clerk with the NYS Tax and Finance Dept. in Albany, for a number of years before retiring. Previously she had been a longtime waitress at her sister's business, Bubble's Restaurant in Mechanicville. A devoted member of the Assumption-St. Paul Church and the church's Rosary Altar Society, and a member of the Junior Dante Club. She enjoyed traveling yearly to Cape Cod with her daughter and family, other trips to shrines and Boston for feast celebrations with her sister-in-law, Antoinette Forte, and enjoyed reading, cake baking and decorating, but most of all she loved the company of her children and grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Julius Fatty Marcelle, who died in 1997; also her sister, Anna Cimino; and brother, Anthony Nooki Guilianelli, along with in-laws. Survivors include her son, Henry Rocky Marcelle of Morristown, NJ; daughters, Rodi Antoinette Marcelle of Rensselaer, and Julie (Paul) Zanotta of Groton, MA; five grandchildren, Marcie (James) March, Brittany and Andrew Worgan, Rachel and Lauren Zanotta; along with a brother, Thomas (Diane) Guilianelli of Mechanicville, nieces, nephews and their families. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9 a.m. at All Saints of the Hudson South Church, (St. Paul's), 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville. Burial in St. Paul's Cemetery.
