Paschal 'Pat' Parillo RotterdamPaschal Pat Parillo, 90, passed away peacefully at Ellis Hospital McClellan Campus on Wednesday, November 28. Pat will now be able to be with the love of his life, Elsie, who passed away in 1994. Born in Susquehanna, PA, he moved to Schenectady in 1942. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII. Pat worked for the Army Depot for a number of years, then for the General Electric Company as a welder for 18 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church (formerly Our Lady of Assumption) and the Sampson Navy Veterans Assoc. Pat was predeceased by a brother, Liberato Parrillo; Josephine Tarbox and Lucy Parrillo. Survivors include two stepchildren, Mary (Pete) Zoulas and John Durante (Dena); a brother, Carlo Parillo; three grandchildren who affectionately referred to him as Poppy, John Zoulas, Spero Zoulas, Christina Pfaller; and eight great-grandchildren. Also survived by two great great-grandchildren, Hannah Zoulas and Jillyan Pfaller. Funeral service Saturday morning, 9:30 from the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. and 10 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. An hour of visitation will precede the service from 8:30 to 9:30 at the funeral home. Interment, Parkview Cemetery, Schenectady.
