Paul Stephen Lukasiewcz Sr. Obituary
Paul Stephen Lukasiewicz Sr. GlenvillePaul Stephen Lukasiewicz Sr., 70, of Glenville passed away suddenly on May 9, 2013. He was the only child of the late Stephen and Regina Lukasiewicz. He was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School and Hudson Valley Community College. Paul was employed by Carquest as a regional sales manager. Paul loved his job. He could have retired years ago but he couldn't stand the thought of not seeing all his accounts on a regular basis. He considered them to be his friends and fellow motor heads. Paul was an avid car enthusiast. It gave him great pleasure to rebuild a car from a junk yard dog to a show ride. His most recent accomplishment was his beautiful 1968 AMX. In his younger years he was a drag racer at several local tracks. He also belonged to many area car clubs. He was a charter member of the Electric City Timers and most recently the Four Guys Car club with his best friend Randy and buddies Mike and Ray. In 1986 Paul decided he would build his own home from the ground up. Building his house was a labor of love, and completing it was a proud moment. Caring for it brought him great joy. He always had plans and projects in place to continue to improve his home. Later in life he and Sharyn enjoyed traveling. He never thought he would enjoy flying off to exotic destinations but she convinced him to give it a try. He was hooked. His favorite destination was Mexico. Paul and Sharyn were soul mates for over 27 years. Paul loved his children Paul and Regina with all his heart. He was always thinking of their future and giving his loving advice to make sure they were always happy. He was proud of their successes and especially the gift of his grandchildren. Paul is survived by his longtime soul mate, Sharyn Ragan; and his children, Paul Lukasiewicz Jr. (Brenda), Regina Lukasiewicz-Gallagher, and Sharyn's daughter, Lorrin Trifilo. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Paul Lukasiewicz III, ToniMarie DeNisio-Millington (Matthew), and Kaitlin DeNisio.
