Philip W. "Phil" Rosselli, 74, of Grissom Dr., passed away on Friday, November 5, 2010 at his residence. Born in Jackson Heights, NY, he was the son of the late Benedict and Eleanor Whitcomb Rosselli and was a graduate of Troy High School and Albany Business College. Mr. Rosselli was a U.S. Navy veteran having served from 1954 to 1957. He was bestowed with the Navy Occupation Service Medal as well as the National Defense Service Medal. He was last employed at Sears Tire Center in Colonie and had previously been employed by General Electric in Schenectady. Phil was an avid enthusiast of theater as well as thoroughbred horse racing. He was a also an avid supporter and donor of Proctor's Theatre in Schenectady. Devoted father of Paul (Amy) Rosselli of Ballston Lake; dear brother of Diane (Joe) Calantone of Lighthouse, FL and Dyken Pond; cherished grandfather of Jared and Kyle Rosselli; and former husband of Mary Glasgow Rosselli Gouger of Londonderry, VT. Funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Private interment with military honors will be held in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 or to Proctor's Theatre, 432 State St., Schenectady, NY 12305, in memory of Philip W. Rosselli. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
