Santo A. Lombardo RotterdamSanto A. Lombardo, 75, entered Heaven on Thursday, April 4, 2013, after a long illness. Santo was born in Schenectady. He was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. Immediately following high school Santo served in the Army. In 1961 he began employment as a service representative for A & M International in Albany, where he worked until his retirement. He was a longtime member of the East Glenville Community Church. He was an avid skier and also greatly enjoyed playing tennis. Santo was predeceased by his beloved parents, Santo and Antoinette (Pelicone) Lombardo. He is survived by his beloved sister, Mary and her husband, Joseph Russo of Mechanicville. Santo is also survived by several cousins. Calling hours will be held Sunday, April 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam. A funeral service will be held Monday, 10 a.m. at the funeral home, the Rev. Kenneth Heckeler officiating. Santo will be buried with military honors in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
