Virginia Crotty ScotiaVirginia Crotty, 91, entered into eternal peace on Saturday at home. Virginia was born in Clay, WV, a daughter of the late Samuel and Nancy Miller. She located to the area as a young woman. Virginia worked as a waitress for many years. Later in life she was a devoted homemaker to her family. She was a member of the Scotia Seniors and attended Scotia United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold P. Crotty in 1973; and her siblings, Clark Miller, Dolly Cooper, Ida Cooper, Mary Kemp and Glenn Miller. She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, George and Joan Michel Jr. of Scotia; and her siblings, Helen Hutchinson of Dover, PA, Goldie Miller and Nora Conan, both of Kenosha, WI, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wednesday at a time to be announced at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Streets. Interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
