Walter L. Davignon GloversvilleWalter Davignon, 72, passed away at Mountain Valley Hospice Tuesday night with family at his side. Walt was an avid fisherman, hunter, and Red Sox fan. He reached his goal of retirement in the Adirondacks, enjoying a peaceful life. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Susan Davignon; son, James (Tracy) Medford, MA; daughter, Melissa (tre) Roche; stepdaughters, Lonnie Whitthohn, Lori DeStefano, Kelly (Wayne) Zimmerman; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cousins. Arrangements for a Spring burial made by Gloversville Funeral Service. Contributions in Walt's memory may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice or Hope Volunteer Fire Department, of which Walt was a member.
