Eugene A. Piotrowski

Eugene A. Piotrowski Mechanicsville, MD Eugene A. Piotrowski, 59, died on November 21, 2012. He was born in Schenectady, on September 22, 1953 to the late Eugene F. and Agnes Piotrowski. He was a 1975 graduate of SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry in Syracuse, with a BS in resource management. Gene was devoted to his family and dedicated to preserving the environment. Gene devoted well over 30 years of service to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. He was the director of Public Lands Policy for the Maryland DNR for a Sustainable Future in Annapolis, MD. Survivors include wife, Mary (LaLonde) Piotrowski; children, Virginia Piotrowski and Nicholas Piotrowski; sisters, Caroline Komoroske (David) and Paula Maciag (Robert); father-in-law, Walter LaLonde; sisters-in-law, Michelle Nelson (Frederick) and Melinda Ritter (Thomas); and nieces, Magdalene and Kristen; nephews, Joshua, Matthew, Walter and Richard. A funeral Mass will be held on Dec. 7, at 9:30 a.m. at The Church of St. Adalbert, 550 Lansing St., Schenectady. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1456 Dunnsvillle Rd., Rotterdam.
