Pauline J. Bock RotterdamPauline J. Bock, 85, passed away on February 12, 2014, at her home in Rotterdam. Born in Moira, NY, Pauline was the daughter of the late John and Ruby (White) Curran. A graduate of Moira High School and Plattsburgh State University, Pauline worked as a line worker at Campbell Plastics, previously working in the office at the Central Credit Bureau in Schenectady. She was a former member of St. Paul the Apostle Church, she enjoyed reading, puzzles and all types of sports racing. Pauline was predeceased in 2006 by her husband, Fred M. Bock, whom she married November 5, 1947, as well as her two sons, Ron and Daniel Bock, and two grandchildren, Katlyn Jacobs and Leigh Jacobs. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Pieniazek (Bill) of Princetown and Linda Jacobs (Paul) of Mocksville, NC; one brother, Marty Curran of Alfred, NY; her grandchildren, Cherie Pieniazek, Josh Pieniazek (Tamara Towns) and Megan Wingard (Brett); and two great-grandchildren, Daytona Mitchell and Amelia Wingard; along with several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Pauline will be held Monday, February 17, 2014, at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Schenectady. There will be no calling hours by request. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pauline's name can be made to the , 155 Washington Ave., Albany, NY 12210.
