Ann Heilmann DelmarAnn Heilmann, 93, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Eddy Heritage House in Troy. Born in Albany, Ann was the daughter of Anna and Richard Fennell. She was predeceased by George, her husbandof 67 years. Ann was a longtime resident of Delmar. She worked for the NYS Education Dept. until retiringto live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for the winter months and Sacandaga Lake for the summer months. Ann is survived by three children, Martin R. (Joan), Connie (John) Dickinson and Tina Heilmann; grandchildren, Holly (Joe) Camillo, James Parker, Nikole Heilmann and Kellie Parker; and great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Gabrielle Dickson and one nephew, D. Martin Heilmann. A special thank you to the staff on the 3rd floor at Heritage House and nurse Michelle for the care given to Ann. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 28th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 29th at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl., Delmar. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
