Antoinette M. Mazzucco Scotia Antoinette M. Mazzucco, 91, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Ellis Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. Antoinette was born on June 20, 1922, in Schenectady, a daughter of the late Pietro and Angelina Rossi. She graduated from Mont Pleasant High School and worked for the General Electric Company, where she retired from after many years of dedicated service. Antoinette, a provider to her family, embraced life, was compassionate and loving. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and reading the Daily Gazette, especially completing the crypto puzzles. Antoinette was a member of the Mt. Carmel Seniors, the GE Turbine bowling league and a fan of NASCAR and her NY Yankees. She was a devoted communicant of Mt. Carmel Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Orlando Mazzucco, whom she married December 29, 1945 at Mt. Carmel Church and her loving brother, Fred Rossi. Antoinette is survived by her loving son, William and his wife, Irene Mazzucco and her grandson, Anthony Mazzucco, all of Scotia and many dear friends. Services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Streets, with Fr. Robert Hohenstein, officiating. Entombment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
