Connie Forino Morrissey MechanicvilleConsiglia Connie Forino Morrissey, 82, formerly of Saratoga Ave., died early Saturday morning at Ellis Hospital, following a short illness. Born in Mechanicville, October 29, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Carmine Willie and Lucy Pettograsso Forino. A homemaker most of her life, Connie had worked as a stock clerk at the Central Market, as a young woman. She was a member of the Italian Fraternal Society, the Mechanicville Senior Citizens, and a lifelong member of the Assumption-St. Paul Parish. She was an avid Bingo player and also enjoyed the Racino. Connie was predeceased by her husband, Richard Morrissey, who died in 2004, as well as her brothers, Vincent Hooker and Ralph Forino. She is survived by her cousins, Margaret (Ron) VanDenburgh, Joanne (Larry) Catallo, Noreen (Edward) Parissi, and Carol Ann Giulianelli. Although she never had children of her own, Connie found love and comfort from the many visits and time spent with the small children in her family, especially Carla, Sarah and Logan. Friends are invited to a memorial Mass at All Saints on the Hudson, 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville on Wednesday, June 11th at 12 p.m. with burial to follow at the Saratoga National Cemetery.
