John J. Jegabbi

John J. Jegabbi Schenectady John J. Janek Jegabbi, 61, at rest, June 7, 2014, after a long illness. John was born in Schenectady and was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. He was employed for 40 years as a machinist and shipper with the General Electric Co. in Schenectady. John enjoyed life and loved people. He enjoyed many competitive team sports including: wrestling in high school, softball, bowling, golf and darts. He also was known to enjoy dabbling in the ponies, lotteries and his favorite numbers. John is the beloved son of Noreen Bonanzo and the late Anthony Bonanzo; beloved husband of 19 plus years to Terri J. Jegabbi, his Georgia Peach, who totally dedicated herself to loving and caring for John throughout their time together; beloved father of Dennis J. Jegabbi, whom his Dad so loved, respected and was so proud of and his fianee, Abby Abs Emery; beloved brother of Lynn (the late Charles) Roney, Toni-Ann (James) Duval, Cheryl (Joseph) Angerami. John is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins, a daughter and grandchildren. Calling hours will be held Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, Rotterdam. John's family wishes to give a special thank you to Dr. and Mrs. Anthony P. Mastroianni for their friendship, dedication, care, and continuous support.
