Chester Wrzesinski, 80, of Schenectady, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday October 12, 2009 at his home in Schenectady. Born on May 29, 1929 in Dickson City, Pennsylvania, Chester lived most of his life in Schenectady. He served with the United States Air Force and later went to work with General Electric Co. in Schenectady, working in the gas turbine department for many years until his retirement. Chester was a Communicant of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, Schenectady. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Kilmer Wrzesinski, whom he married on November 15, 1963. She passed away on September 21, 1999. He was also predeceased by a son, James Isabella. Survivors include his daughter, Ramona Wrzesinski of Schenectady; three sons, Edward Kilmer of Schenectady, Ralph (Paula) Isabella of Atlanta, GA, and Michael (Linda) Isabella of Rotterdam; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and a niece of Clifton Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, 1241 State St., Schenectady. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Lights Funeral Home, 1428 State St., Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Luke's Food Pantry, 1241 State St., Schenectady, NY 12304.
