Everett Henry Keeler, 75, of Roy, Washington passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Madigan Army Medical Center of natural causes. Born on December 6, 1934 in Ballston Spa, New York, to John Henry Keeler and Belle Minnie Castle, he was the fourth of their seven children. He married Myrtle May Palmer on August 19, 1956. He is survived by his children, Michael Everett Keeler of Lakewood, Washington, Colleen Mary Lynn Suprenant of Ballston Spa, New York, Timothy Lee Keeler of Roy, Washington, Raymond Allen Keeler of Spanaway, Washington, and William Andrew Keeler of Fairfield, California, and Melissa Marie Lamb of Fort Lewis, Washington. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Jerred Quincy Keeler, of Roy, Washington, Donald Keegan Paiva of Lakewood, Washington, Caitlyn Elizabeth Keeler of Lakewood, Washington, Robert Allen Lamb of Fort Lewis, Washington; and siblings, Ruth Elizabeth Keeler-Welch of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Warren John Keeler of Taylorsville, North Carolina, Earl James Keeler of Broadalbin, New York, Marian Alice Keeler-Delong of Gloversville, New York, Dorothy Mary Keeler-Pingelski of Clifton Park, New York, and, Carol June Keeler-Hayner of Clifton Park, New York. He is predeceased by his wife, Myrtle May Keeler, who passed on June 24, 2002. Everett spent the majority of his life serving in the Army and was a decorated Vietnam veteran. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010. His ashes will be interred at the National Cemetery in Saratoga, New York following a military funeral to be held this summer.
