Kathy D. Henry (nee: Parks), 62, surrounded by her family, died at Ellis Hospital on April 28, 2010. Kathy was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Raymond and Natalie Cooper Parks. She was a 1967 graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School and a lifelong area resident. Until the onset of her illness, Kathy was an office assistant for 25 years at the Parkside YMCA in Glenville. Kathy was the first person to greet those who came to the Y and all who knew her will miss her contagious smile. She was active with the Reach Out for Youth program sponsored by the YMCA, an auxiliary member of the East Glenville Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glenville. The family would like to thank the loving and caring staff at the Riverview Cancer Care Center in Rexford and Kathy's Parkside YMCA "family" for all of their support. Survivors include her son, Daniel Henry (Rebecca) of Las Vegas, NV; and daughter, Jennifer Bradt (Chad) of Rotterdam; twin grandsons, Ryker and Jayden Bradt, and granddaughters, Taylor and Danelle Henry; her brothers, Kenneth Parks (Mary) of Glenville and Bradley Parks (Susan) of Plymouth, MA; her nephews, Chris and Jesse Parks; and niece, Kalee Parks. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 547 Saratoga Rd., Glenville. Interment will follow at Park Cemetery, Sacandaga Rd., Scotia. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 3 at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd., East Glenville. Memorial contributions in Kathy's name may be made to Parkside YMCA Reach Out for Youth, Droms Rd., Glenville, NY 12302 or the New York Capital District Resource Foundation, 1003 Loudon Rd., P.O.
