Andrew E. Amorosi RotterdamAndrew E. Amorosi, 83, of Rotterdam, went home to be with the Lord on May 26, 2012. Andrew was born August 13, 1928, a son of the late Antonio and Pasqulina Rossetti Amorosi. He was educated in Schenectady schools and was employed as a tailor and a salesman for the former Lafayette Men's Clothing Store for many years until his retirement due to ill health. Andrew was a member of the South Schenectady Fire Department. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and greatgrandfather. Andrew is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beverly; his beloved daughter, Pasqua Ann (Wayne) teRiele of Schenectady; grandchildren, Kenneth (Cindy) teRiele, Benjamin teRiele, Amanda (Tim) Ralston and Jessica teRiele (Jeff Collins). He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Madison teRiele and Mia Ralston; his brother, Joseph (Lucy) Amorosi and many nieces and nephews. Andrew was predeceased by his siblings, Pat Amorosi, Julius Amorosi and Angelina Mango. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home, Inc., 1605 Helderberg Ave., on Thursday evening May 31, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be begin at 8:15 a.m. at the funeral home on Friday, June 1 2012. Immediately following, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul's Church at 9 a.m., corner of Kings Road and Albany Street, Schenectady. Interment will follow at St. Cyril's Cemetery, Duanesburg Road, Rotterdam. The Amorosi and teRiele families would like to thank St. Peter's Hospice Nurses for their care and devotion to Andrew.
