Joseph M. Mulvaney Ballston SpaJoseph M. Mulvaney, 78, of Ballston Spa, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Born in Saratoga Springs, February 9, 1934, he was the son of the late Gerrald and Edna Mulvaney. Joe was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Tufflite Plastics in Ballston Spa for many years. Joe was a member of Union Fire Co. No. 2 for 41 years. He was a member of the Hudson Valley Volunteer Firemen's Association, Hudson Mohawk Volunteer Firefighter's Association, and the Royal Order of the Blue Vests, serving as a delegate for many years. He was also a member of the Union Fire Co. Band. Joe was a 30 year member of American Legion Post 234 of Ballston Spa. He is survived by his children, Michael Mulvaney (Joanne) of Ballston Spa, Joseph Mulvaney Jr. of Ballston Spa, Alan Mulvaney (Mary) of Phoenix, AZ, Kenneth Mulvaney (Tonya) of Phoenix, AZ and Joanne Isabella (Carmen) of Ballston Spa; his longtime companion, Leslie Robinson of Ballston Spa; and her son, Bryan Robinson (Kim) of Rexford; sister, Vivian Stanley of Stillwater; cousins, Mary Millis (Ron) and Alene Zetterstrom (Tom); dear friend, Wayne Gilhorn; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services with military honors will be held 10 a.m. Friday, August 17, at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Road, Town of Saratoga.
