Stephen Gyomory Fredericksburg, VA Stephen Joseph Gyomory, 75, of Fredericksburg, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at McGuire VA Medical Center. Stephen was born in Dun- more, PA and raised in Sche- nectady, NY. He was proud of his military service and the time he spent serving his coun- try during the Vietnam Con- flict and the Korean War. He retired from the United States Army after 21 years as sergeant first class. Stephen's other joys included bowling, reading war stories and Archie comics. Stephen is survived by his son, Joseph Gyomory (Francis) of Florida; four sisters, Mary Ann Sperbeck (Thomas), Flor- ence Dufek (Robert), Joan Ci- priano and Arlene Kelly (Thomas); and two brothers, Paul Gyomory (Debbie) and John Gyomory (Mary), all of New York; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of fam- ily and friends. His family wishes to also acknowledge his close friend, Frank. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa; and his daugh- ter, Evelyn. Stephen's family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sun- day, March 3, 2013 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Crema- tion Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funer- al Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9149 Elys Ford Road, Freder- icksburg. Interment will take place in Princeton Memorial Park on Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
