Mark Trendell WarnervilleMark Trendell, 35, of West Fulton Rd., Warnerville died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 9th in the village of Schoharie. Mark was born June 7th, 1978 in Albany, a son of Norman and Linda (Marshall) Trendell. He was educated at both Schoharie and Cobleskill school districts and had lived in the Sloansville area most of his life. Mark was employed by the carpenters union and spent numerous prior years developing excellent roofing skills. He was a former member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Joiners of America Local 0291, Albany, and BPO Elks Lodge #2507, Esperance. Mark enjoyed many things in life including poker, Scrabble, cooking, animals and a wide variety of music. He was a very handyman who loved the outdoors and enjoyed snowmobiling, riding golf carts, skiing, snowboarding, hiking and camping. Survivors include his wife, Erica (Sossei) Trendell; and their son, Nicholas of Warnerville; a stepson, Donovan Burling; his parents, Norman Trendell of Florida and Linda Trendell of Rensselaer; brothers, Matthew (Reanee) Trendell of Jefferson, MD, and Raymond Trendell of Schoharie. He is also survived by niece, Paige and nephew, Colin Trendell of Jefferson, MD, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, February 14th at the Langan Funeral Home, 327 Main St., Schoharie, NY with the BPO Elks Lodge #2507 holding a service at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 15th at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave., Albany. Burial will be held at The Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mark to his son Nicholas's scholarship fund at any NBT Bank.
