Barbara Cramer Obituary

Barbara S. Cramer Scottsdale, AZ Barbara S. Cramer, age 86, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2015 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Barbara was born on March 22, 1928 to Gladys and B. Barrett Singer, in Amsterdam, New York. She was raised and educated in Amsterdam before attending the Walnut Hill School in Massachusetts, and then attending and graduating in 1949 from Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. While attending Bryn Mawr she met the love of her life, Carl Cramer, and spent over 60 wonderful years of marriage with him before he passed away in 2009. During those years they traveled extensively throughout the globe, going to places that few others have ever seen or experienced. Her love for travel was unsurpassed. In 1978 Barbara and Carl moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. In Scottsdale she continued to pursue her passions of travel, bridge, and cooking. She is survived by her daughter, Cathryn Morse of California; sons, Christopher (Debra) of Greenwood Village, CO and Charles (Erika) of Scottsdale, AZ; her sister, Elizabeth Gluck of Boca Raton, FL; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and her ever loving feline companion, Rexx. She was a very loving person who will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Barbara Cramer Parkinson's Research Fund, Banner Health Foundation, 2025 N. 3rd St., Suite 250, Phoenix, AZ 85004.
