Mr. Eisenhauer was a fantastic teacher. My esteem for him and his teaching was always great, but has continued to increase over the years. Thank you, Mr. Eisenhauer.

Mr. and Mrs. Eisenhauer were the most wonderful couple who frequented my families clothing store Hoffman's Ltd (now closed) in Latham, NY for many years. They always referred to each other as Mr. and Mrs. Eisenhauer as they would have during their teaching years. It was abundantly obvious how much they adored and cherished each other. I bought an old Victrola as a decoration for the store and they donated all their old records to me. I always enjoyed hearing about their travels and about the all the interesting courses they were taking. They were lifelong students of life and learning and shared their amazing journey with everyone they met. A remarkable couple I will never forget.

Mr. Eisenhauer came to my office on one of my first days as a social worker at Malta Avenue School. He called me the "shrink" and said he wanted to tell me his dreams. Indeed, he did that many mornings. He and Helen attended the Round Lake Antique Festival every year and always visited us, and Al walked around with our small son on his shoulders. Our family remembers both he and Helen for the Shrove Tuesday breakfasts for the Malta staff at the Packhorse Restaurant. They were a remarkable couple and he will surely be remembered by many as a very intelligent and kind man.

He was both my teacher and my husbands. He would stop us on the street in ballston to wish us happy birthday for each one of our children and always on our anniversary. We loved having afternoon tea with he and Mrs. Eisenhauer. An inspiration to all who were fotunate enough to have known him.

Mr Eisenhauer was my fifth grade teacher at Malta Avenue school, he was the best teacher I ever had. I remember him reading to the class at the end of each day. He read the Narnia series in the course of the school year and on the last day of classes he gifted me that set of books! I have loved reading all my life, in part because of him. I am grateful that he was my teacher......RIP Mr Eisenhauer
