Sherrill was loved by all who knew her and her kind generous spirit. She is survived by her daughter, Kyle Milem of Sycamore; her granddaughter, Ryan Milem of Sycamore; and two sisters, Patricia Caul of Elgin and Donna Caul of Sycamore. She was preceded in death by her mother; her stepfather, Orr Williams; her husband, Kenneth; one grandson, Michael Milem; one brother, James Caul; and her son-in-law, Charles Milem. Sherrill was my Aunt and Godmother, we were fortunate to grow up knowing such a wonderful, loving woman. I remember picnics & holidays at their home, laughter and tears, going to church with Sherrill teaching Sunday school. I remember the bells she collected when I was so young and I will always remember her telling me how long my fingers were and they were made to play the piano. The memory has always stayed with me and about 11 years ago my mom found a used piano that I bought, I've never taken piano lessons and can only play a few songs. Every time I look at the piano I would always remember her holding my fingers and lovingly tell me they were made for playing. She never missed sending me a birthday card or Christmas card even though we may have only seen her once a year. Thank you Aunt Sherrill for bringing so much love, joy and memories to my life. You our with our Lord in his loving arms and watching over us with my dad James, Nana, Boppa, Ken, Michael and Chuck. I know how much Kyle, Ryan and your sisters will miss you and I always know they are okay knowing you are with our Lord and all of our loved ones watching and guiding us and always still loving us.
